Book a free 15-min consult →A three-phase model for what treatment with me actually looks like — an unhurried arc from first contact through integration. Grounded in Afrocentric principles and the sacred work of reclaiming pleasure, connection, and wholeness.
Phase 1 · Sessions 1–3
Assessment & Alliance
We begin with a full biopsychosocial and sexual history — your body, your relationships, your culture, your inheritance. We name what brought you here (low desire, painful sex, mismatched libidos, infidelity, disconnection, shame) and establish the trust and safety every honest conversation requires.
Phase 2 · Ongoing
Insight & Skills
We explore the symptoms and cycles keeping you stuck — the inherited scripts, attachment patterns, and cultural or religious messages shaping how you love and desire. You practice coping skills, communication tools, and values-clarifying work that begins to soften what has hardened.
Phase 3 · Integration
Growth & Integration
Posttraumatic growth. New ways of thinking, feeling, and relating — rehearsed until they are yours. Your erotic self integrated into your whole self, so the intimate life you build outlasts our work together.

By day — confidential clinical care for individuals, couples, and groups.
Reclaim pleasure as a sacred act. Explore desire, function, and joy — healing from shame and celebrating your whole self.

Individual sessions are 53+ minutes. Couples sessions run 75–90 minutes. Initial intake (individual or couples) is 75–90 minutes so we have time to hear the full story.
A no-pressure phone or video call to see if we're a fit — you share what's bringing you in, I answer questions about approach, logistics, and cost, and we decide together whether to move forward.
Affirm, Renew, Transform — a three-phase treatment arc. We affirm the whole person and build a shared assessment, renew by exploring the cycles and inherited scripts keeping you stuck, and transform through new ways of thinking, feeling, and relating that outlast our work together.
Low or mismatched desire, painful sex, difficulty with arousal or orgasm, sex after trauma, sexual shame, infidelity and rebuilding trust, communication ruptures, disconnection, life transitions, exploring identity and orientation, and couples navigating non-monogamy.
Everything discussed is protected by therapist confidentiality (with the standard legal exceptions). You will not be pathologized for who you love, how you love, or what you do in your bedroom. This is an affirming practice, not a curious one.
Sessions cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice are charged the full session fee. Life happens — we'll always try to reschedule within the week when possible.
The first session is a full biopsychosocial and sexual history — your body, your relationships, your culture, your inheritance. We name what brought you in, establish goals, and begin the work of trust and safety. You get to ask questions too.
CBT shows us how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors create patterns that shape our intimate experiences. Understanding these cycles is the first step toward transformation.
The bedroom of your mind is shaped by the thoughts you think, the emotions you experience, and the behaviors you practice.
